Boumalne Dades
From Saghro Jbel to Dades Gorges
Built on the hillside at around 1500 meters, Boumalne is quite a steep place!
The panoramic view, from the height of the only boulevard crossing the city, embraces the Dades valley. With the Anti-Atlas as a backdrop, it shows the maintained fields down the valley and the luxurious flora of the Hamada.
One of the biggest Souks (markets) of the area takes place every Wednesday. It is located a few hundred meters out of Boumalne in the Tinghir direction.
Slightly further on, a track joins the village of Tagdilt. It is here that all the ornithology amateurs meet in order to observe Larks, Buzzards or Great Dukes present in the Birds Valley.
From Tagdilt, the amateur trekkers will start their journey from the trails traversing the canyons to the lunar-like landscape of Saghro Jbel.
