Benidorm

Benidorm, stay on the Costa Blanca

Far from the image of Spanish towns and villages, Benidorm is more like a group of buildings facing the Mediterranean. A tourist city par excellence, Benidorm welcomes a flood of tourists and partygoers during the summer months.

Beaches

The 3 beaches of Benidorm, with blue flags, follow one another. Levante beach, Poniente beach and in the center and smaller Mal Pas Beach.

In the north, Poniente beach with its beauty and shops is very much appreciated.

In the south, Levante beach is the liveliest with its bars and restaurants.

Between the two beaches, overlooking the old town and sheltered from the Canfali hill, the small cove of Mal Pas faces the island of Benidorm.

In the north, the 2 small coves of Almadrava and Tio Ximo, of sand and rock, are popular spots for scuba diving.

Quarters of Benidorm

Central, the old town of Benidorm separates the two beaches of Poniente and Levante. It offers a beautiful panorama, on the coast and the small island of Benidorm from the promontory ‘Balcón del Mediterráneo‘. The small alleys leading to the Constitucio square are full of friendly tapas bars.

The Rincon de Loix district, located at the end of the Levante playa, concentrates English pubs and restaurants. Difficult to find paella or taps, the proposed dishes are called fish ans chips or other English specialities.

To get out, the most lively bars and discotheques concentrate on the promenade along the Playa de Levante. Here, at nightfall, young people meet each other in search of alcoholic parties and one-night meetings. You will have understood, it is not necessarily the ideal place for a nice family holiday… The big nightclubs are located in the north of the city.

For families, Benidorm has a few parks to spend the day in. Terra Natura zoological park, Terra Mitica amusement park, MundoMar water park…
